Who we are
Czech Association of Security Managers is a non-profit association incorporated
on 10th of March 2004 at Department of Interior as a professional association
of managers dealing with activities in field of personal, property and
information security, according to Act No. 83/1990 Coll., on citizens
association. A constitutive assembly took place in Prague on 28th of April 2004.
Our interests
The reason for founding the Association was not only the existence of similar associations in the EU and elsewhere in the world but mainly a long-lasting absence of organization that would represent interests of security managers and that would contribute to their education and stimulate experience exchange.
The main aims of the association are as follows:
- To represent and to promote common interests of its members outside the association.
- To cooperate with the state and other entities in the Czech Republic in its field of interests and to create contacts with similar entities abroad as well.
- To ensure mutual support between security managers in their demanding and responsible work and to ensure public awareness about their activities.
- To help its members to find a new employment in case they lost their existing one.
- To provide consultations, organize workshops, trainings, seminar meetings, conferences and events to stimulate experience exchange.
- To coordinate and support activities in the field of professional education and to increase level of professional competence of its members.
- To actively participate in creation and modification of legislature, standards and regulations in the field of personal, property and information security, including EU norms and regulations.
- To contribute to the prevention of criminality and personal, property and information risks by different measures.
